SWEAT THE BIG SCENE (FEAT. WATERBABY)

On an appropriately hot day, South London-based outfit Sweat have revealed a steamy new tune, featuring their friends and frequent collaborators Waterbaby. Oozing with a sense of inertia, 'The Big Scene' is presumably a scathing tribute to the incestuous nature of London's underground music scene. Not so subtly tackled in the lines 'It's the big scene, we all hate each other', there's a dark sense of humour to the sonically intriguing track that consists of wobbly guitar work, programmed beats and heavily auto-tuned vocals. Continuing their virtual aesthetic, 'The Big Scene' arrives with a surreal video directed and edited by visual artists Waterbaby with the 3D elements built by Sweat themselves. Waterbaby explain: "Reality and simulation collide in a hyperreal space overgrown with wild violet flowers. In this uncanny mirror world doubles drown their sorrows, unable to wake from their dream like state." Check it out here now. -Holly Mullineaux
